The brief was to make a secure trophy cabinet to display a tennis club’s impressive collection of tennis trophies dating back to the early 1920s.
The cabinet is made from Wenge veneered 18mm MDF with a solid American Walnut casement machined to have a decorative inner edge. The door has invisible magnetic catches as well as a small but obvious (discreet) brass hasp and shackle. It is lined with a rich magenta baize.
