Old door complete restoration

The customer wanted her original door to be completely refurbished – in time for Christmas.

There was more wrong with this door than meets the eye. The doors joints were sprung, the door frame was in a parlous state, the doorstep having lost its metal plate was worn through use. — The door was in dire need of repair

It was to be a complete transformation of the front of the house with the door, the door colour and the door furniture to be the feature. The job involved a temporary door replacement.
